I realized I’d never blogged this gorgeous family session!

Meet the Malveux’s.

Such a sweet and fun family….their little one might I add, is such a spunky little one! She’s absolutely adorable and has such a big personality for being so small.

We met up at one of my favorite spots in Houston. It was a hot and terribly muggy day (think 96% humidity) and as luck would have it, the parking lot was closed due to a private event. How awesome, right? (Sidenote: I do check location calendars for notices like this so, I don’t look like such a cottonheadedniggymuggins. This was not listed. Thanks a lot, guys.) Fortunately, this family was not afraid of taking a little hike.  I think dads exact quote was, “Do we have a choice?” No, we didnt….whoops. We made our way to the nature center, frolicked around a bit (yes, frolicked…thats what I call what we do at sessions), got some great shots , wrapped up our session and headed back. We walked for what felt like forever, when suddenly, I realized we were in the “forest.”  I’ll spare you the exact conversation but, lets just say they thought I knew where I was going and I really had no idea…insert a couple blank stares from me and you get the gist. Can we say, “Photog dummy moment #2?”

We backtracked while sweating, jumped a wooden fence and made our way back to the right trail. They could’ve been totally annoyed with me but, nope…fortunately they were still smiling (to my face, anyways). I’ll admit it….my mental compass is broken. I blame being a girl for that. LOL.

Malveauxs…..I hope you didn’t get any blisters and if you did, I hope your pics were worth it and that London was good and tired for naptime after all that. 🙂
