Newborn photographers never recommend waiting until your baby is 3 months old but if you do wait, you better have your fingers crossed she sleeps like Kavya.  Kavya was 82 days old for her session.  After the first 2 weeks, I find that babies start waking more and they become less flexible. The older the baby the more alert they become and that can cause challenges for newborn photographers. My goal was just to keep her happy. I focused on wrapping Kavya even though she hated it at first! Once I wrapped her (and she fussed for a bit) she fell asleep. This session lasted all of 45 minutues…..I had to move fast!  She did wake up towards the end and so I took the opportunity to snap some awake shots.
