Easy Steps to Booking your Houston and Katy Area Newborn Photography Session!
What is proofing? It means you select the images you want. You’ll receive many images but, you only select the ones you really want. The number of setups I use per session is usually determined by the package you choose. For example, if you choose the Deluxe, 12 image, package, I aim for 3 setups minimum. Less for the mini, more for the premium digital package. Once the images are taken, I do some really basic editing and send them off to you for selections.
This is what a proofing gallery looks like. These images are sent to you and keep in mind, they are not fully edited. I only edit your selections. This particular mom had opted for the premium, 20 file, package.
I’m not exactly sure how many images are there but, there’s definitely more than 20. LOL. I aim for as much variety as possible in each and every session.
From this point, mom selects her favorites. 20 were included but, mom chose 25. Additional images are $20/image and there is no limit to the amount of images you can add. My turnaround time from the time you select your images is approximately 14 business days. You select your images, I edit them and viola! Your newborn session is complete. 🙂
Here are the final, edited images from Ellianna’s gallery.
Mom received a total of 50 images: 25 color, 25 black and white conversions. These final images are delivered to you via digital download. You’ll be able to download them for 60 days and purchase prints via your online gallery, if you choose to.
I hope this helps! As always, feel free to ask any questions you may have!
Love this! Do moms get overwhelmed at all trying to decide? Do you have an in person proofing session? If not, do you have a hard time getting them to make selections in a timely manner? ;D
No, I haven’t found that. They usually do select additional images though. I way overshoot so it makes me happy when they do! No, in person proofing; its all done online. And no! Majority make their selections in the first couple days. 🙂
