Meet Matt & Priscilla.
They met years ago while in middle school ….in fact he was her escort to her quinceanera! Side note: I really hope there’s a picture of you two together from back then at your wedding! 🙂 They lost touch, grew up……life happened. Priscilla moved to San Diego, Matt joined the military and did a stint in Iraq and still somehow they both managed to wind up back in Corpus Christi. Over a decade later they reconnected and then they found themselves going on their official first date, which just happened to mark Priscilla’s birthday as well. I’m sure she never imagined that two years later she’d be celebrating with the same date who would now find himself kneeling on one knee and asking her to marry him! What a birthday to remember!
We photographed this session in a town just 30 minutes outside of Corpus Christi. This is also the location where they will be saying their I do’s come February. It was the perfect location; rustic and charming…..and o’so peaceful! Ladies, if you’re in CC & looking for a venue you MUST check out The Ranch at San Patricio.
Although I am based out of Houston, I’ve been know to travel occasionally to photograph families, children and couples. I’m always eager to photograph new locations, new scenery and of course, new faces! So, if I can make the trip usually I will. When Priscilla contacted me, I was super excited. We’ve known each other for a while now but, have lost touch over the years. Thank you FaceBook for reconnecting us and a big thanks to Priscilla & Matt for trusting me to photograph their engagement session! Can’t wait to see their save the dates. 🙂
