Being a Houston newborn photographer, I hear lots of baby names. This precious baby girl is the first Tatiana I’ve photographed. I have a cousin named Tatiana and have always thought it was a beautiful and unique name. Fitting for this gorgeous baby girl that I had the pleasure of photographing in February.

She was born at 7 lbs and 3 oz on Jan 31st and is completely perfect. Welcome to the world, Tatiana!

That black and white conversion is one of my favorites!!! Look at that curl on her forehead. Love love love!

This pose, known as the potato sack pose, is one of my favorites. By keeping baby wrapped up snuggly, they stay comforted and its such a great way to draw focus to their faces. Seeing their cute little fingers is just the icing on the cake.  This pose is generally done on a flokati rug as it gives great texture and depth while keeping the “magic” underneath well hidden. It is one of my favorites at the moment as you can see by clicking here and here and here and here.

And how gorgeous is she in this muted purple. This bonnet was made by Little Lidz. I’m so glad I ordered it in two colors because it is freaking adorable and most importantly, fits her little newborn head perfectly. I can’t remember where this backdrop is from but, I absolutely love the muted color!!!
